A combination of factors brought this about — database corruption, a hack attempt and I forgot to renew the domain, having to go through the whole IEDR rigmarole.

I’ve decided to start things afresh, as frankly the old blog was a mix-matched flurry of my life over 4 years. 4 hectic years. Key events which were some what of Coming of Age experience. I feel that I need to start afresh as a new chapter of my life opens, so I’ve archived the old blog over on WordPress.com

This blog will be going in a new direction. The old one never had a direction. The niche changed so often — it began as a personal blog, which turned into a blog documenting my online affairs, then my web development happenings, and finally reverting back to a personal blog. Going back through the archives makes me utter the phrase “what was I thinking back then?“.

So now this blog is solely a personal blog. I will be running it like I should have run the other one from the start — hosting images externally, optimising the posts to be search engine friendly, and of course posting more frequently. That’s the plan at least.
